LESSONS

In keeping with the belief that horses raise great kids, we at Winning Ways are pleased to offer lessons to anyone wishing to learn to ride or drive. Regardless of age or size, if the rider’s interest is there, the rest is unimportant.

Riders from ages five and up enjoy the personalized attention they receive in our program. Lessons begin as private, one-on-one instruction; they are 30 minutes in length with additional time spent learning the aspects of basic horse care. Lessons proceed at each rider’s pace and level of learning, based upon the mutual desire of instructor and student to achieve each individual’s goal. When a rider is safely able, at the instructor’s discretion, they may move into group lessons of 45 minutes in length with three to four riders participating.

Your program may be purely recreational, or structured toward a competition level of your choosing… from the local schooling show or as far as competing as a Winning Ways owner/exhibitor on the national level.

Our breed of choice is the American Saddlebred, a breed known for their exceptional intelligence, beauty, athletic abilities and people-oriented personalities. Our lesson horses are of varied levels, with each displaying the exceptional mental and physical qualities desired in the learning-type mount.
