Clinics
From time to time, we offer saddle seat riding clinics. These clinics feature some of the nations' best trainers/instructors and are open to the public on a limited basis. On May 17th we proudly host Ms. Barbe Smith of New Orleans, LA. Barbe is a renowned equitation instructor, having coached several World & National Champion riders. She is also the trainer of many champion American Saddlebred Show Horses. The clinic will be comprised of individual lessons on Saturday. We will host an Open Horse Show on Sunday, May 18th that will feature classes for saddle seat, hunt seat & western riders. Please contact us at sgfwwf@sbcglobal.net for further information.
Camps Horseback day camps are offered at various times throughout the year at Winning Ways. We currently offer a summer program as well as holiday camp during the winter school break.
Our day camps are filled with loads of equine fun! Campers ages 6 & up spend their time learning the aspects of basic horse care, including grooming, tacking, after-riding care of the horse & equipment, basic feeding, equine terminology and much more. They receive a riding lesson each day and often times, can be found enjoying an afternoon ride before the end of camp, weather dependent. When the children are not with the horses, the balance of their day is nothing but PURE KID FUN! Games, arts & crafts, swimming, contests and much more! |
